Ammonites – Haeckel Mug
Four fossil ammonite shells from plate 44 (Ammonitida) of Ernst Haeckel's Kunstformen der Natur (Art Forms in Nature), published 1899 to 1904, set around the mug on a dark rock texture.
Haeckel died in 1919, and the plate is in the public domain; the scan is from the Biodiversity Heritage Library. The rock texture is dark_rock from Poly Haven, released under CC0.
